KidsColab text alerts are intended for parent-managed family accounts. This program is transactional only and is designed to notify opted-in adults about time-sensitive family workflow events.
- Meal plan approval requests that need parent or guardian review.
- Reminder alerts for pending approval requests.
- Status updates when an approval request is approved, declined, or otherwise resolved.
KidsColab does not use this SMS program for general marketing or promotional blasts.
Who can subscribe
Text alerts are intended for parents or guardians who manage a KidsColab family account. Child-facing profiles are not the target audience for this notification program.
Subscription is optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or use of KidsColab.
Website opt-in flow
The website opt-in flow used for KidsColab text alerts is designed to work as follows:
- A parent or guardian signs in to KidsColab and provides a mobile number on the website.
- The user checks a dedicated SMS consent box for KidsColab text alerts.
- KidsColab records the consent event with the mobile number, timestamp, and collection source before sending recurring alerts.
Disclosure at signup
By providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on KidsColab, you agree to receive transactional text messages from KidsColab about meal plan approval requests, approval reminders, and approval status updates at the number provided.
